I had a chance to interview Ray and spend some time with him before he joined Google.
The way we met was very serendipitous -- I asked a question during a movie premiere about the nature of reality. He must have enjoyed it because later someone from his team sought me out to invite me to a VIP after party.
His publicist at the time said this was the best interview he ever gave (It's possible she says that to all the girls, but, I'll take it!)
