I organize my folders with 2 ~ 4 letter prefixes:

/[CO] My Company/[OR] Organizations/[GOOG] Google/

I then put these prefixes in front of my files:

COORGOOGINV-20201214 Some Invoice.pdf

The number of prefix characters should be consistent within each folder of course.

I might sometimes add other tags:

COORGOOGINV-20201214 Some Invoice [No 345750][E 87][Payed].pdf
