Uuughh, I have this with Windows on my Dell XPS as well. Basically every time it comes out of sleep/hibernate, it will briefly think the battery is at 0% and try to shut itself down, and if you boot it up again without it being plugged it, it won't start up at all.

But when plugged in (either coming out of sleep or for the follow-on boot), after a few seconds it'll go "lol yeah no you are actually at 100%, no further charging is required, hooray!"

Would love to know how to disable the critical battery shutdown altogether in order to get around this. It's a bizarre and terrible bug to have in what is supposed to be a flagship developer machine.
