I fear we are entering a post-truth era where how many times something is retweeted, liked, or upvoted will decide whether it is truthful or not. People are also karma junkies, so slightly tweaking the algorithms to promote certain content and demote other can have a large effect. Demonetizing someone for tweeting "Free Palestine" is not censorship per se, but definitely regulates how people express themselves.
