No. It's been more like "Pioneers of our industry are dying as they are now largely in their 70s, 80s, and 90s." If you don't know who they are, then either you're not part of the computer and software industry (fine), or you should take this as an opportunity to learn about the industry you're participating in rather than celebrating your own ignorance.
