To be fair, they had to make money somehow. I'm happy that they're trying to be financially sustainable.

Yes, I agree with that. But their focus in being sustainable is coming at the cost of basic functionality.
The app has grown a lot slower, and became buggy, along with it having several dark patters pushing for monetization.
