Somewhat related, what are some recommended IP geolocation providers today in 2025 and associated cost?

IPLocate.io is free to use up to 1,000 reqs/day, also includes a bunch of other IP data like proxy/vpn detection, asn/company/org info. Disclaimer: I run this service, so I'm biased :)

Depending on what you need ip2location might fit. They have free versions that are country-level and sell more detailed versions as well.

We used them until we moved to fastly, which does iplocation stuff as part of their service.
