I switched to Ecosia long back when AI answers were getting in the way of search. It became apparent that Google wanted me to spend as much time as possible on their search page instead of websites from the results. I Just opened Ecosia, searched, the first result was an AI summary. https://i.imgur.com/1w5PmAw.png
As I paginate I get keep getting AI summaries as the first result and they're all different.
Your post also contains factual errors:

I see a button that says "Sign up" and they even made a guest user for me.
My post is old. I have never seen AI summaries on Ecosia. Maybe this is all new. The sign up button started showing recently.
