I'm a highly experienced (ie very sr) dev with an uncommon ability to focus, am highly productive, and possess broad systems level thinking from BE to FE to design. Can deal with on the job stress very very well, and can work with teams of all sizes. Yet: I've never once passed a live coding test. From my own example -- sorry! -- this model simply does not work.
