The most effective way to deal with this is to do it again and again until you get used to it.

It's the same thing as dealing with stage fright. Just keep doing it. The stage fright will fade away.

There is truth to this but it's important to acknowledge that exposure therapy alone may not be sufficient for everyone and will require alternative modalities.

It's like moving, first time is very stressful and it's a whole ordeal, but after repetition it's a familiar, whole ordeal.
