We might just have to accept that it’s software engineering. Not vibe engineering, just engineering. Proper engineering has never shied away from using smart tools, it’s about ownership, accountability, planning, etc etc and you’re still doing all that. If you sign off properly on everything, it’s yours. It’s engineering, that’s it.

Smart tools have existed forever, or we’d all be coding in assembly still. As long as we take ownership of the code and the result that’s it.
