Instead of "LLM's will put developers out of jobs" the boring reality is going to be "LLM's are a useful tool with limited use".

Instead of "LLM's will put developers out of jobs" the boring reality is going to be "LLM's are a useful tool with limited use".
That is at odds with predicting based on recent rates of progress.
