This has been sorely missing. I've been playing Jackbox games with friends, and that's been the closest we've gotten to the ideal, but their games are slower-paced and thus rely more on mechanics that don't translate well across cultures.
A gaming platform like this hits all the pain points, I'll try it soon and see if the games are good, thanks!
Yup, I've thought exactly same before starting the development of Gaming Couch. Jackbox was the go-to easiest (in terms of accessibility and funniness) for my friend groups but had it's shortfalls which I'd thought I could fix so here we are! Let me know what you think of the games once you get to try them :)
I think this game is closer to the Mario Party mini games than Jackbox, in terms of pacing.
It looks like it, and that's great, it's good to have variety.
