While I agree it’s a good resource, please note there’s quite a few controversies[1] with the site, e.g. “The excessive monetization model of user-generated content has been criticized by several newspaper outlets, such as the British newspaper The Guardian”
Yeah, Fandom definitely went through a dark patch where they essentially killed a lot of very good niche wikis in the name of monetisation, and some other fraction migrated away as well as they could. Apparently it's changed owner and might be getting better, but I haven't had reason to go back and check.
