Obama won, and he was just a one-term senator without any major achievements and no particularly unique platform. Just because we liked the guy and thought he sounded sincere. I don't agree with you. The vast majority of American voters aren't racist.
And I agree that reality TV fame is an idiotic reason to elect a candidate, btw. But most people (in all parties) are unserious idiots.
