Linus runs this specifically because it supports kernel development decently well. If you aren’t developing the kernel, his reasons for running Fedora have little to no impact on you.

while i provisionally agree with you, the rest of the distro is very leading edge and very stable and solid.
those are also solid good reasons, and likely play a role in his choices as well.
