I have no clue about GUI programming, but I eventually came to the conclusion to use Avalonia after even my LLM told me to do it.

If you're using C# this is pretty much your best bet IMO... I think MS really missed the boat by not having a Linux target for MAUI, even if it was just passthrough to GTK (Or Qt).
