FrameMaker 1.0 for the NeXTcube required a minimum of 8 MB to 16 MB of RAM.

    A web search shows that FrameMaker 1.0 cost $2,500.

    wikipedia says that the Windows version, released in 1992, was priced at $500, which cannibalized sales on other platforms.
