Completely wrong. I've worked in NLP/ML/AI for 2 decades. We don't know all of the countours and parameters, but we know how they work.
I'm going to tell you the utter truth. If you worked in AI for 2 decades and you're saying you understand how they work. Then you are not an intelligent person and you're delusional. That's all you need to know. I'm not saying that to be insulting. Just facts.
