TSMC already does make a huge amount of money off of being the indispensable fab for all of Apple's latest-and-greatest chips.

Each time TSMC launches a new or incrementally-improved manufacturing process, Apple's latest Ax SoC is nearly always the first chip manufactured on that process to reach consumers.
