Srsly, you need your pet in the feedback loop.

It has to produce a game that Momo wants to play.

Does Momo like to bark at cats? On screens? Introduce a bark sensor as feedback.

Or use a cat. Cats like to swipe at mice on TV. Get a touchscreen and evolve a game for cats.
