Thanks - yes, this is an area that's in rapid flux right now.

All: if you see an account mostly posting what look like generated comments, it's super helpful to email hn@ycombinator.com with the username. We're relying heavily on user reports right now, while we're working on building better software defences. Hopefully soon, for example, we'll extend the flagging system to allow this type of report.
