The point isn't what this does to existing games. The bigger point to me is what it'll do to games of the future. I imagine in the future devs wont bother creating detailed faces anymore. instead make a very generic thing that the AI is good at upsacling and call it a day. Once you turn DLSS on, it'll start looking like real faces. It's a really good way to save some cash.
