Happy Earth day! Although I'm having a somewhat sad earth day since I've been scattering wildflower seeds and two days ago the city came though and mowed them all down. So it's less happy than usual, now the flowers are all dead.

I'm persistent with my flower seeding, this is my third year and in the big picture 'mowed by the town/county" is one of the less distressing things to happen. Once I had several beautiful zinnias growing near the county creek and someone came with a shovel and dug them all up! The seeds won't be stopped though.
Humans are ironicial, they do wars on one end and fire missiles to take all efforts 20 years back and then celebrate earth day and talk about Saving nature. Wow :)
