What if they take your jobs for a fraction of your worth, and drive up the cost of living, while extracting massive subsidies from your taxes? You love the people who destroy your quality of life?

For the record, I love real diversity, I grew up in home where we have exchange students from abroad (to help pay the bills), but in Canada, the last 10 years or so has soured my opinion because my standard of living has decreased while my government has done everything to support new Canadians, and now I am close to homeless in a town where the new hotel is filled with government funded new Canadians.

I get your frustrations, but maybe the root of those issues is more complicated than "the outsiders".

    Exactly. Maybe the ultra rich shouldn't be allowed to accumulate all the wealth and assets and "the outsiders" are just scapegoats. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    If you read my comment, I also share the blame with the government who has not only allowed this, but enabled it.

    But a part of the government is also staffed by "the outsiders", who then further exploit the government in favour of "the outsiders".

    But you are right, I haven't allocated the blame to the activists and moronic voters (boomers, who saw the plan as a great way to juice their retirements) who went along with the plan.

      Actually partly yes, my grandmother was. That isn’t the point though, I just have an expectation that people should be treated fairly and not discriminated against regardless of their background and frankly many people who come here particularly from South Asia do not hold those values at all, and I’ve seen this negatively impact Americans from many different ethnic backgrounds.
