I hope while you're molding your children into strong, thick-skinned individuals who are impervious to everything that happens around them, you remind them that respect, kindness and compassion are virtues too.
Of course, that is the other side of the coin.
Golden rule, put yourself in their shoes, all of that.
I hope you guys are raising your kids to be strong but caring individuals. You need both.
