Compare to: "You told me The Illuminati [worldwide ancient conspiracy] was a myth, but behold, I have proof of The Illuminati [card game] right here my hands! CHECKMATE, SKEPTICS!"
Ha ha, but no, you weren’t. You were told that there’s no such thing as an organized centralized group called Antifa. You were told that it’s an ideological approach to fighting fascism, not a terrorist organization. You were told that labeling antifa as a terrorist organization was going to be an excuse for bringing sanctions against anyone Trump’s administration happens to dislike.
It's not a loosely organized group, it's a label applied (by the right) to many different groups with little to no coordination operating in entirely different places
No, they did not. Jerry Nadler is often cited as an example here and that’s wrong; what he actually said is that it was a myth that Antifa provocateurs were behind the ongoing violent protests in Portland. Not the same thing.
Don’t make vague accusations. If you have real cites, provide them. And your claim is “quite a few” so pointing at one candidate somewhere isn’t gonna do it.
As far as your second paragraph goes, I didn’t say that anyone should be protected from the consequences of their actions so that portion of your comment is irrelevant.
The definition of "antifa" is broad enough to compass Dwight D. Eisenhower.
mind you, Ike's ending words were about how the US had built a fascist styled war machine
There are certainly people who are Anti-Fascist in the world.
Indeed, there's no such organization. Is this supposed to be some sort of gotcha?

And all of that is true.

It’s still a myth. This administration labels anything that is against their agenda as “Antifa.”
They still haven’t positively identified an organization called “Antifa” and never will.
