TESCREAL is a word meaning "a bunch of unrelated groups that Timnit Gebru thinks are nerds", who are not really aligned with the administration.

Nerds using untold wealth to inflict fringe beliefs on societies at scale can do plenty of harm.
Since the groups are unrelated, they don't actually have consistent wealth levels or belief. It's literally just a list of random people she doesn't like.
Probably for its use of the "TESCREAL" slur. Which it isn't even using accurately, since most people in basically all of the groups in "TESCREAL" think the administration sucks.
It's an acronym or neologism. The groups comprising it are often cult like, but I also don't view that as a controversial statement.
It's a slur. It was coined to be used pejoratively, it is in fact only used pejoratively, and the people it's used to describe reject it.
It's also overgeneralized to the point where it may not point at any useful shared characteristics at all, but that's not what makes it a slur.
