As far as I can tell, there were no credible criminal charges against this group, except that they are effective organizers on the opposite side of political spectrum. In the White House’s deranged logic, this qualifies them to be officially designated as domestic terrorists [1].
Can we all agree that this is an assault on the First Amendment?

The first amendment only applies inside the US. The US is allowed to cancel the speech of foreigners.
And murder foreigners, of course. It's allowed in the Constitution!

That seems hugely speculative without any supporting evidence.
They didn't make it sound speculative. It sounded like they had the financial records and intelligence to back it up.
Whether this specific post is about Iranian connections to these groups, I don't know, but that's why I said assume for that aspect of it.
The comment got flagged though, which is good since it lets me know it's a sensitive issue. That tells me I should spread it 10x harder.
