Hardly anyone (present company excepted) knows what's "underneath"

To the vast majority of users, the computer is "the apps"

And a great many people use only a browser, a photo album app and maybe some office apps to handle the WPX flying their way.

That said, even "apps" are becoming "conversations" to an increasing number.
