A week ago, a medical office that I had an appointment at kept pestering me to fill out their intake form online. (Multiple, multiple texts.)

I got there the next day, and when they asked me to do the form, I rolled my eyes and said, "do I need to install an app?"

The lady behind the counter asked for my insurance card, scanned it, and told me that I was all set.

What was all that nonsense for, anyway?
