Sounds a lot like my life. Agree with all of this. People were flabbergasted when I told them I was retiring “you’ll be so bored!” “What will you DO with all that time?”. I’m busier now than I was while I was working because I can actually commit to regular workouts/sports/projects instead of only being able to claw a few minutes here and there between work and family. Life is infinitely better. Once you gain control of your time, most of your stress melts away.
