Apple events are full of these meaningless statements, which always drive me crazy. Of course it's the "best iPhone Apple has ever made." If it wasn't, then wouldn't I be better off buying an older model?

Just once I want the CEO to go up on stage and say “this year’s model isn’t all that great tbh”.
That’s the open for an actually amazing year.
I'd be quite happy with "It's not as powerful as last years model, but it has double the battery capacity"
I haven't been this excited since Dodge released their new Caravan... or Ubuntu released their new orange and purple UI...
