Yes that makes sense. But you know there are other options like Garmin that create really cool type of smart watches that you might actually find fitting to your needs.

But my entire point was that you cannot compare a digital basic watch to apple's device that it calls a watch. Like its just a different device categorically imo and comparing things like battery etc is just not worth it.

But you can compare similar categories like the example i mention and see how one smart watch matches against the other. Like if we want to buy a good fountain pen but settle on a pencil beacause we don't want to deal with the ink, we cannot pretend the pencil and the pen are equivalent products that have direct comparasions even though they serve the same utility of writing device
