Take "boomer" out of it and I would agree with you.
Greed and power are not and never have been an age-related thing past early childhood. It's the human condition, not strictly a "boomer" thing.

It's not a boomer thing other than the old people in power happen to be boomers right now. But it is related to them being at the end of their lifespan. The greed is so incredibly short sighted because they only have a few years left to exploit society. Trump won't live long enough to see the full consequences of his actions.
We are watching world leaders get increasingly old which is having catastrophic impact on society.
