The only thing I watch on youtube.com is music stuff (electronic, industrial) and occasional tech stuff like some retro computing stuff or such. I very rarely use it. I just went to the home page to see an example because I was curious. One of the recommended videos about 3 rows down? "Donald Trump Recruits Rambo To End The Iran War". It's AI slop. I watch NOTHING about politics or similar on here. Nothing about the US or war things or anything. "The algorithm" is doing exactly what your quoted snippet indicated, scarily enough.
