Isn’t that the same without a headset?
No, talking into a phone feels more natural than talking to nothing in particular
Plus when you talk into a phone, your voice bouncing off the glass causes natural tendency to control vocal volume.
With buds, people just shout into the void... Or the bus...
Better than the people who walk around using speakerphone… which I see at least 3 people do on every trip to the grocery store.
