"But you get your choice of toppings." "That's good!" "The toppings contain potassium benzoate... ...that's bad."
Can I go now?
Don’t worry, if you aren’t confused enough there’s also this to send you through another cycle! https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33811821/
That link sent me into a neverending redirect and reCAPTCHA loop, so very confused.
He did say it's a cycle after all! Scnr
Title:
> Creatine promotes cancer metastasis through activation of Smad2/3
Tldr is basically that creatine helps body cells (in rats) to grow. Regardless wherever they're bad (cancer) or good (muscle). At least that's how I understood that study the last time I came across it. So probably stop using creatine when you've a cancer that's growing. Or its liable to use the creatine to turbocharge it's growth
"Immunity" = "immune system activity." "Anti-tumor immunity" = "immune system activity against tumors."
Thankyou!! I'm sure if you have experience in the medical space this sort of thing seems obvious, but to me (non-medical), the original phrasing was so confusing. Your explanation makes sense.
I mean the summary ends with pretty clear message
> …and support the use of creatine supplementation as a strategy to augment DC-based cancer immunotherapy.
So it seems that from this research the outcome is indeed creatine = good
Original title may be clearer?
Creatine uptake promotes dendritic cell activation and enhances antitumor immunity
Original title is too long, I had to shorten it
