Which was kind of the point in my initial post. If this fresh account is operated in the US by a person receiving funds from a foreign government (i.e. from or on behalf of the CCP) then there is a requirement to register under the 1938 Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA). It's not illegal for a US resident to recieve funds for lobbying, but it is illegal to do so without compliance with the appropriate regulatory oversight.

Exquisite projection. I mentioned israel because they're the single greatest violator of FARA since the law's inception, and it's extremely hypocritical for the current administration to chase Chinese ghosts while israel continues to walk all over our foreign agent laws in broad daylight.
