Amazing, my first thought was these proofs came to be because there was enough information to collect, and it was just a matter of putting the data together and working the proof. It seems more than that. Your description brings to mind that, in the past, we've had discoveries that came to be because two distinct fields came together and created something new. The MRI, medicine and physics, comes to mind. Given AI's ability to juggle the world's knowledge, I get the feeling that we are bound to see many more WOW moments in the future.
