Easy to talk like that when you don't have to live in the system.

Do they not? Although they live on a sailboat, they have to pay docking fees when at port. They are vegan, so they have to buy farmed food while at port, they can’t fish for it. They have to pay taxes like everyone else. They pay for hosting for their web presence. Their boat requires maintenance, so they occasionally have to buy materials for this which are industrially produced. They have to earn an income to fund all of these expenses.

Just because they get power from a solar panel and can sail to different places doesn’t mean they are “outside the system”. They are just living an unusual lifestyle with a light footprint. They still have a number of obligations to attend to. In fact, some of these obligations (particularly the ones related to the boat) are life-or-death, and much worse than what the average person deals with. You can’t hire a handyman to come patch your boat up during a storm.
