Turnout was 63.7% of eligible voters (lower than 2020, and even 100% would exclude certain felons, underage folks, mentally incapable folks, minors). And from that subgroup of a subgroup "only" 49.9% of voters selected Trump.
Still a crazy number, but not "half of the people of a country".
By your numbers, 31.8% of eligible voters actively voted in favor of fascism, and 36.3% of eligible voters chose to let it happen. That's 68.1% of voters that allowed your country to be turned into a shithole.
