At some point Simon needs to move from Pelicans to something more complex. Every time a new model is launched by major Frontier company, I already know with certainty that first HN comment on the news would be about how Model is drawing the Pelicans.
Agreed. It's a fun cultural tidbit but not really a useful benchmark for model capabilities.

I stopped looking at Pelican pictures about a year ago when I realized they mean nothing.
There's plenty of highly complex benchmarks for this stuff. Simon doesn't need to do that.
