Bitcoin rich people generally did nothing legitimate to earn their wealth and are often straight up devious criminals, so hearing this story about them being robbed is just a rare instance of karmic justice, IMO.

This is the argument that scammers and ransomware gangs use: we (the criminals) live in a poor country, and you, the rich white people, enjoy all the benefits. Nothing happens if you lose some of your savings, especially if it's a business and not some granny.
Sure, but I don't rob anyone at all, regardless of how awful they are, and I have definitely been the victim of grift, because I pay taxes in the US.
