What are the odds of a black applicant for CEO?

IME black corporate board members typically come from a military, law, or medical background. White board members have a much more diverse set of backgrounds, including "son of former board member".

It’s the same group of people running the companies and boards as are running Harvard and the medical schools.

  • So 2% African American and 11% female? (the current ratios of F500 CEOs for each identifier)

Or presumably ~85% white and male?

    • Your 85% white figure doesn’t tell you anything. Educated and liberal white people have an out-group preference, which is why universities and medical schools discriminate against white people despite being run by white people.
