While the article deals with the topic that is not funny at all, I am amused by people having somewhat ironic names:

"Plamen" means "Flame", when translated from most Slavic languages (incl. bulgarian) to English.
You might enjoy this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nominative_determinism. Not quite the same thing, more like if Plamen was a firefighter (or arsonist, I guess), but it's what your comment reminded me of.
