We are going to see a lot of this "agent agency denial". Basically it all derives from the impulse to deny that AI is a novel source of change and disruption in the world. Trying to map AI to existing threat vectors will lead to pointless reframing in attempt to minimize the rapid pace of progress of AI agents.
