Thank you. So sorry to what happened with your brother. I agree with you, NPC is not rare. I know at least 3 people on my network that have them.

I'm lucky, in a way that the stage was low (stage 2, T1N1, low-risk/low-EBV). My entire treatment (chemo-radiation) was done in ~3 months, and my team of doctor knew well what they were doing. The side-effects of the treatment last for years unfortunately, something I have to deal with.

It's been 3 years on remission, no sign of cancer/marker anywhere. I'm grateful.
