It seems like the developer is Japanese (the dev log is in Japanese according to the readme) so for once I am willing to believe this is a case of “the dev is not a native speaker” - but yes, I wondered several times reading the readme if this whole thing is vibe coded
Actually, his Japanese is pretty strange too. As a native speaker, it doesn't even feel like Japanese-Claudish. It feels more like it was translated from some other language, or maybe he just didn't bother reviewing the Haiku 3 output at all.
