The rest of that quote is about the timeline where everything turns out perfectly but everyone is quote and unquote useless. That is not the only timeline. The timeline where the AI Ghouls get their way and oppress everyone else is covered in the first paragraph. This is to illustrate that the only ill-effects to my mind are exactly that: the humans who are are trying to oppress other humans. I don’t care if the machines make me jobless in itself. I have no psychological qualms with that.
